Production Control Manager (Eastanollee, GA) to plan, direct and coordinate the work activities and resources for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality and quantity specifications. Review processing schedules and analyze production and assembly processes to determine optimal inventory requirements and staffing levels within allocated budgetary limitations and time constraints. Coordinate with management, engineers, and production staff to ensure all plant activities operate efficiently for production of all concentric wire types, including bunched wire, unilay, and rope lay conductors, as large as 750 MCM. Review and recommend changes to existing procedures, if required, to ensure all copper wire products meet strict corporate quality guidelines as well as ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 Quality System Certification. Develop production schedules and duty assignments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to production schedules and processes. Implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports. Evaluate production processes and methods and ensure that the best techniques are implemented. Implement Quality Assurance System (QAS) to assure that products are produced in compliance with customer requirements and other applicable standards and regulations. Approve expenditures for supplies and materials ensuring that materials and equipment are used efficiently to met production targets. Hire, train, supervise and instruct production staff in quality management by instructing on improving and maintaining quality during production process. Prepare, maintain and present to management periodic productions reports. Implement programs to control inventory, improve efficiency and increase production. Coordinate procedures for equipment maintenance, including replacement of parts and machines. Track costs and schedule variance to decrease inefficiencies and to increase production on an as needed basis. Req. Masters degree & 1 year experience.
